OUR STORY

The aim of Zero Pain Philosophy is a world where no  veterinary patient suffers pain unnecessarily.

We believe that the best way to achieve this is to improve pain management via the education and support of veterinary professionals and pet caregivers. The understanding that better pain management benefits more than just the patient drives our ongoing commitment to the mission.

The team started by creating instructional nerve block videos to help vets learn and implement these techniques in practice.

The popularity of these videos quickly led to the development of pain updates, in which the latest papers and research were digested into something quick and easy for vets to understand.

The webinars soon followed, in response to the fantastic engagement the team were seeing with their regular CPD lecture events across the globe.

The Zero Pain Philosophy journey began in 2016 when founders Matt & Carl, and colleague Brent, recognised that pain management is a daily part of practice life, but many veterinary professionals lack confidence or knowledge in this area.

It was clear there was an opportunity to bring growing research, developments and their own experiences to time-poor vets with easy-to-access education on the topic.

Now, Zero Pain Philosophy continues to offer high quality educational content for veterinary professionals in a variety of formats, as well as individual case support via its telemedicine service and practice accreditation for those that want to showcase their analgesic excellence.

An enthusiastic and supportive community of Zero Pain Philosophy veterinary professionals has grown, fuelled by a shared dedication to improving pain management for veterinary patients.

With over ten thousand members worldwide, the momentum of Zero Pain Philosophy only continues to grow.

My vet career started in mixed practice, with the challenges of practising pain management in multiple species. I love learning more about pain and how to apply this knowledge to benefit our patients.
